Michael McCurry was born on 4th June 1964 and is known as a football referee from Scotland. Although Michael McCurry has been known as a football referee this wasn’t the only career that he chose, with him also previously being an accountant and is currently a pastor at Mosspark Baptist Church.
Michael McCurry had often said that refereeing was a hobby of his rather than a profession and lists his main occupation as a minister of the Christian faith. As well as refereeing being one of Michael’s main hobbies he also has an interest towards magic tricks and took part in the Scottish Conjurers Association’s stand up magic competition. He has been noted for his skill with silk handkerchiefs and is able to multiply coins in his hands, he has also been known to use his magic tricks during sermons at the Mosspark Baptist Church.
During Michael’s time at the Mosspark Baptist Church he has took part and organised many events for men, women and even children. An example of an event that Michael McCurry organised was a new year party for children, Michael used his contacts to attract some of Scotland’s top children’s entertainers.
